CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS

26 BIG SEMINARS - Sessions will cover a full range of winemaking techniques, grape growing, special hands-on WineMaker workshops and lots more!

WINEMAKER BOOT CAMPS - An in-depth learning experience held pre-conference with three options:  Wine Testing, Winemaking from Grapes and Cool Climate Grape Growing. Limited to just 35 people per class.

EXPERT SPEAKERS - An all-star cast of winemaking professionals, hobbyists and WineMaker writers will lead dozens of seminars geared just for you - the hobbyist winemaker.

GREAT FINGER LAKES LOCATION - With over 100 world-class wineries in the Finger Lakes, here’s your chance to learn from local experts and explore wineries in this beautiful New York state region before or after the conference. Plus our first-ever east coast conference will be based on the campus of Cornell University, home to one of North America's top viticulture and enology programs.

CONFERENCE BINDER - Each attendee will receive a binder packed with print outs of all conference seminar presentation slides and room for note taking.

WINEMAKER WORKSHOPS - Each day experience learning hands-on and mouth-on as we tackle wine sensory evaluation on Friday and wine faults on Saturday.

Bring a bottle of your own wine and take another wine away at our Wine Swap. Plus, local Finger Lakes wineries and regional home winemaking clubs will be pouring wines to sample.

WINEMAKER EXHIBITS - check out the latest in winemaking equipment, gear and ingredients while talking with the hobby's leading suppliers and retailers in the conference exhibit hall.

SATURDAY LUNCHEON KEYNOTE - WineMaker Columnist Q&A!  We'll have four of our WineMaker Columnists in the same room ready to answer your winemaking questions. Get answers and solve your problems with our panel of experts.

2012 WINEMAKER INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR WINE COMPETITION AWARDS DINNER - Find out first who are the winners in the largest amateur wine competition in the world. This awards dinner will unveil the top winners from the 2012 competition.
