In every issue of WineMaker, we publish lots of material that comes straight from our readers like you. We want to hear your best tips, stories and projects to share with your fellow home winemakers! In our Cellar Dwellers department, we look for short, first-person home winemaking anecdotes, tips, projects and recipes. Do you have a little gadget you created that helps you bottle? Or a backyard trellis system you want to show off? Maybe a simple solution to a common winemaking problem? An award-winning recipe? A great story of your family's winemaking traditions? Let us know! We also feature a calendar of home winemaking events and winemaking club profiles in this section, so please contact us. Good photos are always a plus. In our Dry Finish department, we publish short opinion essays, whether serious or seriously funny, about a wide range of home winemaking topics. We also use this final page of the magazine for personal essays related to your home winemaking experiences. And in the Wine Wizard, the all-knowing guru of homemade wine answers readers' questions and offers solid troubleshooting advice. We also have an annual Label Contest, where you can compete with hundreds of other home winemakers for some great prizes handed out to the best selection of homemade labels for homemade wine. The deadline for the annual contest is usually in the early Fall of each year. Plus, we're always looking for feature article ideas and new writers. If you want to write for WineMaker and/or would like to submit a story idea, please send in! Send all editorial submissions, questions and thoughts on our content to
